Buford Highway

Reimagining a 7-mile stretch of road in Atlanta, Georgia.

Nørrebro Station

Using community engagement, inclusive design, and ethnographic research to create a design for an underutilized space in the most diverse neighborhood in Copenhagen.

In the Fall of 2019, I worked with Joshua Morrison from Fundament Design and Betina Werner from COurban Design Collective to design a public space in Nørrebro, Copenhagen by using an inclusive design process.

Inclusive design aims to truly engage community members in a meaningful way as key players in the design process. I spoke with local community stakeholders at religious institutions, small businesses, and other public facilities in the Nørrebro area.

I led a workshop at Tagensbo Skole with 60+ third graders to better understand what types of play structures and spaces that children in the community would like to see in the area.
